Compass and Rose were successful in winning this project located in one of the most desired areas in the heart of London. This serviced-residential-new build, designed by Norman Foster, overlooks the River Thames, just a stone’s throw away from Chelsea Bridge.
The brief was to design a smart and sophisticated, urban retreat for short stays in the city. The layout needed to consist of three bed, three bath with an open-plan living space, a separate utility room and a fully equipped Miele kitchen. We introduced a Sonos Sound System to the apartment and under-floor heating throughout. Given the fast paced nature of the project with just ten weeks for completion, the team at Compass and Rose began one of their most exciting challenges to date.
The residence has been designed and executed to exacting standards. The views over the Chelsea Bridge are a tranquil back drop to the exquisite spaces which flow from one to the other creating a truly unique apartment. Our aim was to establish an inviting, luxurious environment which enabled comfortable living whilst at the same time being low maintenance and hard wearing. The luxurious furnishings and silk wallpaper throughout, accented with amber and aubergine, provide a rich and relaxing atmosphere. The lighting system has been carefully designed to cater for each mood and setting, enhanced with stunning decorative light fittings. Attention to detail is imperative in any project, and an example of this was shown through the use of antique bronze trims in the marble bathrooms and the wardrobe fronts.
We believe that every project is unique and always try to capture the essence of the Client, understand their needs, deliver on time and within their budget and this was achieved with this exceptional riverside residence.
