If you’re a champagne lover, this is for you. Hambledon’s grapes are grown on the same chalk that you’ll find in the Champagne region in France, resulting in delectable sparkling wines that are basically champagne in all but the name. So why not wow your guests this Christmas by buying local bubbles and backing British? Over to Hambledon.
Totes know how Zoe feels this morning. Whitney Port is working the domestic Goddess thing to the max and we’re loving Arianna Huffington’s shot of her first office. Dreaming.
I had a gorgeous morning at the OKA showrooms in London yesterday, and I was so inspired by some of their beautiful festive sets I thought I’d share a couple of videos alongside a few of my favourite picks for gifts and for creating a warm, wintry home. They’re expected to offer a site-wide discount this weekend, so now is a great time to plan your buys.
For this week’s Best of British I spoke to Robert Welch, makers of english silver cutlery that recently made an appearance in Bradley Cooper’s latest film, Burnt.
If you need something truly unique and special to pair with that Christmas turkey, look no further. Sparkling red is back and on this week’s English Wine blog Bolney tells us more about theirs (and all their other mouth-watering wines). Over to the team at Bolney.
This week we’re lusting after Adam Levine and that romantic gesture of his.
Did you know Newgate Clocks is based in an old renovated Laura Ashley unit? Everyone has a 1940’s style desk with a vintage alarm clock by their side (jealous, us?) and there’s an office dog called Badger.
A smooth-running Christmas is all about preparation and organisation. This means….lists! Print them out, stick them on all the wall and work your way down. Before the big Black Friday (27th November) extravaganza, let’s work out what we have, what we don’t have and what we need. That way we know what we’re targeting in the sales and can get the most out of those discounts coming our way.
It’s Thursday, it’s high-time we indulged in a large glass of wine. This week we speak to English winemaker Denbies to hear more about their sparkling wines and white wines, what they taste like, how we should drink them and what foods we should munch alongside them.
This week we’re drooling over Jules Hough’s breakfast routine. Though maybe we’d add some waffles to those berries.
With Thanksgiving creeping closer we picked the brains of Kristina, the founder of Lexington, for some ideas on how to create magical festive spaces. She tells us how to use colours and layers, foliage and candles to weave charm and character into our homes for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I’m a highly visual person when it comes to this game of matching-and-pairing. I’ll buy an entire outfit if I think the mannequin looks hot, and deck an entire room based on a magazine clipping.
One day, more than 16 years ago, three friends embarked on a great adventure over land and sea, to the farthest corners of the earth, in search of treasure. They scoured markets and factories from India to China, hunting high and low. What did they find?
As our evenings are officially getting colder and darker earlier, it’s only fair to say Winter is trudging along quite quickly. Much to others disapproval, I actually really don’t mind Winter, it’s my favourite season and it’s THE perfect time to get cosy and wrap up warm!
I’m not a great lover of investing too much money in trinkets that come out just once-a-year. Instead, I prefer to invest in classic items that evoke a stylish and seasonal ambiance throughout the Winter and dot a few token festive pieces in-between.
What a little dude.
In parallel with our ‘Best of British’ collection, we’re running a series zooming-in on English wines.

Mindfulness is becoming something of a buzz-word these days. We’re encouraged to be mindful of what we eat, mindful of our bodies, mindful of our mental state. It’s a trend I’m a huge fan of. The rise in mobile devices and mass-made produce is playing havoc with our wellbeing, and I strongly believe in the importance of looking inwards and adjusting our behaviour to enhance our mood.
